We do not sync this local content to our servers unless a feature explicitly says it does so.
Zodex offers managed AI models included with eligible subscriptions. When you use a managed model, request payloads (for example prompts, selected context snippets, and tool-related inputs/outputs needed to produce a response) are transmitted through Zodex web services and then routed to our managed model provider infrastructure.
For managed-model requests, Zodex web processes this content to provide the response, enforce subscription entitlements, and account for usage. As a product policy, Zodex web does not persist full conversation content for managed-model chats; full conversation history remains local to the desktop application.
You can also connect your own third-party AI provider accounts. When using BYOK providers, requests are sent from your machine to the provider you configured, subject to that provider's policies and terms. Please review your provider's privacy terms to understand how they process data.
For managed-model features, Zodex web stores usage metadata for operations, billing, and abuse prevention. This may include account identifiers, model ID, timestamps, token usage, estimated/reserved and settled cost records, request status, and related service events. Zodex web does not store full managed-model conversation content.
The Zodex desktop application does not include product analytics or ad tracking that exports your source code or full conversation content to us. On our marketing website, we may use privacy-minded analytics to understand aggregate website usage.
When you activate the Zodex application, a minimal request containing license and device identifiers is sent to our servers to validate your purchase, manage device activations, and verify managed-model eligibility.
