Welcome to Zodex. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. Because Zodex is fundamentally a local-first desktop application, your data remains where it belongs: on your device.
Zodex operates directly on your machine. All your data, including but not limited to:
are stored strictly locally in an SQLite database on your device's internal storage. We do not sync, upload, or have access to this data.
To provide its core functionality, Zodex communicates with third-party Large Language Model (LLM) APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). When you interact with the agent or trigger an action, only the necessary context (e.g., relevant file snippets and your prompts) is sent directly from your machine to the AI provider you have configured. We do not proxy these requests, nor do we log or intercept the payloads. Please review the privacy policies of your chosen AI providers to understand how they handle the data sent via their APIs.
The Zodex desktop application does not include any telemetry, product analytics, or error tracking SDKs that send data back to us. On our marketing website, we use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) that do not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information.
When you activate the Zodex application, a minimal request containing your license key and a hardware identifier is sent to our servers solely for the purpose of validating your purchase and managing device activations.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
